Students taking assessments will take these online within TestNav. 

  • Students will take three assessments within the school year to measure their progress in learning academic standards.
  • Each test takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, but students can have more time if needed.
  • Assessments are secure. Students cannot have devices out during testing.
  • Students in grades 3-8 cannot go back to previously answered questions. However, when answering a set of Reading questions that pertain to a single passage, they can go back to questions for only that passage. After they move to the next passage, they cannot go back to the set of questions for the previous passage.
  • Students in grades 3-8 must answer each question before they can move on to the next (does not apply to students in grades K-2 and high school).
