UPDATE: This bulletin is obsolete as the matter has been resolved. Installing the Java update is no longer a problem.

What is happening?

Oracle released a patch to Java 8 (8u60) on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 which is preventing users from logging into TestNav if they are running Internet Explorer.

What does this mean?

Users running Internet Explorer that have updated to Java 8u60 will not be able to log in to TestNav.

What do I need to do (and how do I do it)?

At this time we recommend customers do not update the version of Java, if they are running Internet Explorer.

Pearson is continuing to evaluate the issue and will communicate an update when available.
