Pearson designed TestNav apps to update with minimal effort from our users. TestNav desktop and mobile apps release are released once a year .
Only two scenarios call for action from our users.
Scenario 1 - Your program uses TestNav mobile apps AND disables auto-update.
Mobile app releases do not require any action, unless your program turns off the auto-update feature.

After the updated TestNav version is released, the app automatically updates the next time it is launched on the following operating systems (OSs)If your program disables auto-update, you must re-download the TestNav app from the appropriate app store for each of the following OSs:

Windows (only from the Windows Store)
Scenario 2 - Your program uses TestNav desktop apps.

The mobile and desktop TestNav apps mentioned in the above section are not TestNav itself. They display the TestNav platform on various devices.
The overall TestNav platform takes two major upgrades a year—in winter and in summer. Pearson coordinates a timeline for pushing an upgraded TestNav version with each program, depending on testing sessions. At the coordinated time, the upgrade pushes to your program without any action required.

Pearson maintains the overall TestNav test delivery platform through a winter and summer major release, and patch releases throughout the year. These releases do not require user action. The next time a user launches TestNav after an update pushes for your program, the device updates to the most current versionThroughout the year, Pearson also pushes minor patch updates to TestNav as needed. These minor updates also do not require any action from your program.
