PS500s - students.csv Errors
Error codes below relate to the students.csv file.
Each student record contains 31 fields, eight are required. Review these fields and the valid format for each.

| PS500 | Error: File Not Loaded - The students file you are trying to import is not a valid .csv file type. | Open the .zip file, open the file with the error and re-save as a .csv. |
| PS501 | Error: File Not Loaded - The students file is empty. | Open the .zip file, review your students.csv file to ensure it has data and re-save. |
| PS502 | Error: Record not Loaded - Unexpected Header Included or is Missing | Open the appropriate file and refer to the Pearson Standard Layout to update the header row. The system cannot load the file if it does not match the header labels and header length. |
| PS503 | Error: Record Not Loaded. One or more demographic columns are not subscribed or valid. | Refers to the localstudents.csv file. Contact Pearson support. |
| PS510 | Error: Record Not Loaded - Required field, dateOfBirth is missing, format is mm/dd/yyyy | Update the student record with the date of birth. |
| PS511 | Error: Record Not Loaded - Invalid Data for dateOfBirth. Format is mm/dd/yyyy. | Update the student record with the appropriate date of birth format. |
| PS512 | Error: Invalid Data - Demographic value is not valid | Update the record based on the error details. |

| Error: Record Not Loaded - Required field, X, is missing. | Open the students.csv file, navigate to the appropriate line, and update the required field that is missing.

| PS551 | Error: Record Not Loaded - Invalid Data type for Customer Code. | Confirm that values in the Customer Code column match the code Pearson provided to you. If you don't know the customer code, contact Pearson. Update the code accordingly. |
| PS558 | Error: Record not loaded - Invalid Data type for DOB. | Update the values in the DOB column to m-d-yyyy format. |
| PS559 | Error: Record not loaded - Invalid Data type for Enrolled Grade. | Update the values in the Enrolled Grade column to K, 1-12, or 01-12, with leading 0. |
| PS561 | Error: Record not loaded - Invalid Data type for Enable Student | Update the values in the Enable Student column to Y or N. |
| PS562 -PS579 | Error: Record not loaded - Invalid Data for Demographic. | Update the demographic based on the demographic valid values and the error details. |
| PS580 | Error: Record Not Loaded - Student does not exist it cannot be updated. | For delta files the updateIndicator should be populated with "I", to insert a new student. |
PS582 | Error: Record not loaded - Org code is not found in the org file. | Open the students.csv file and find the line with the error. Then, open the orgs.csv and add the org code that is in the orgs.csv file. |

After completing any of the actions below, you must re-save, re-zip, and upload the .zip file again.
