Pearson will release TestNav 8.3 on July 1, 2015. These TestNav 8.3 requirements apply to customers when they take the 8.3 release.

The requirements in this section reflect TestNav minimum requirements; however, some customers slightly vary requirements for their specific organizations.

As a general rule regarding optimal online testing, you should avoid using any computer that takes noticeably long (10 seconds or more) to start and run applications.

When using iPads, Chromebooks, or Androids, for testing, make note of which student uses each device. In the event that the student encounters a problem during testing, files necessary to resume each student's test session exist on only that specific device.

In September 2015, Pearson plans to release TestNav Desktop, an installable app for Windows, Mac, and Linux. TestNav Desktop is not browser-based, and therefore, browser-based requirements noted in the above section do not apply.

Pearson will publish installation instructions for TestNav Desktop prior to its release, and program teams will communicate instruction availability to customers at that time. (DO WE WANT TO REPEAT RECENTLY UPDATED HERE?)
