After selecting a prompt, the student should:

1. Read the instructions on the right side of the page.
2. Read the passage on the right side of the page, using the scroll bar as needed.
3. In the space provided, enter a response, selecting Save Progress periodically.
4. On completion, select Analyze Response.

Available Tools and Features

• Color contrast to aid visibility.

• Word count and attempts: Below the text window is a count of words entered so far as well as the number of times a student has submitted for review.

• Apply header styles.

• Bold, italics and underline: Highlight text and apply text styles.
• Undo: Highlight formatted text and select to remove applied style.
