What is happening?

Pearson has released a TestNav 8.10 patch to block the TestNav Android app on Android devices and on Chrome OS due to a potential security issue. Pearson has notified Google of the security issue and will re-enable the app once the issue is resolved.

Customers can continue taking practice tests on Android devices in a browser.

What does this mean?

When customers choose to take the TestNav patch, Pearson will automatically push the patch to each site. This will prevent TestNav 8.10 from running on Android devices.

What do I need to do (and how do I do it)?

Customers using Android devices should plan to use alternative devices for secure testing. Pearson will notify customers once Google addresses the security issue.
