Prior to testing, refer to your assessment management system user guide to configure TestNav and complete the following steps. You can also see the SRF Overview and Secondary Save Location sections for detailed information about saved response file (SRF) and log file backups.

  1. Configure secondary save locations through your assessment management system. 
    When using installable TestNav on Android, Chromebook, or iPad, you can configure only the secondary save location for the SRF. The default primary save location is not customizable on these devices. 

  2. Communicate SRF and log file locations/procedures to proctors (procedure below)

  3. Note which student tests on which device during infrastructure trials and on test days.
