This information is a part of Manage Online Tests.

This is one of the tasks to be done Before Online Testing starts.


Some features are only available to some user accounts. Each user account has a user role(s) and permissions associated with it. These permissions control the data the user can view and actions the user can perform. If you do not see a specific feature, your account is not configured to access it. See Manage Users for more information.

Your testing program will provide information identifying user roles and what each is permitted to do and see.

Users are the account holders of the system. All user accounts are assigned to at least one organization. You can assign users to student tests to assist with the testing process.

Assign Users to Student Tests

To assign users to student tests, follow these steps:

  1. From Testing > Student Tests, search to find the student(s) or click the down arrow next to the Search button and select Show all results. Select the student(s) with assigned student tests to whom you want to assign a user.

  2. Click the Select Tasks drop-down and select Assign Users to Student Tests. Click Start.

  3. You can assign a user to multiple selected student tests or to an individual student test, or remove a previously assigned user:

    • To assign a selected user to all the selected student tests, select the students and enter text in Authorized Users to begin searching for the users. Select a user and click Assign to selected student tests. Click Save.

    • To assign a user to a student test, select the student and enter text in Authorized Users to begin searching for the users. Select a user and click Assign to selected student tests. Click Save.

    • To remove a previously assigned user to a student test, click the X to clear the check box next to the user name and click Save.
