Accommodations Overview

Users with permissions to do so can assign accommodations and accessibility features, such as text-to-speech (TTS), to students who require them.

Options for Assigning Accommodations

Which accommodations are available to be assigned to a student are based on:

Accommodations enabled as part of implementation configurations.
If alternate accommodated forms are available for the test (e.g., a Spanish version).
Which accommodation profile the test is tagged to (for example, some subjects may make TTS available too all students in which case there is no need to assign an accommodation versus others in which only specific students can be assigned).
User permissions – some accommodations may be set up to only be available to some user roles.

Form-based accommodations are paper- or screen-based accommodations driven by the test form.

Local accommodations are provided at the testing location, not by the test delivery platform.

Custom accommodations are provided at the testing location, not by the test delivery platform.
