What is happening?
Google previously announced a plan to phase out Chrome Apps by June 2022; however, a later announcement indicated that it would extend Chrome app support through 2025.
Pearson will mirror that support.
The TestNav development team is working toward providing customers and students a testing solution to replace the app before that date.
What does this mean?
Customers using the Chrome TestNav app can continue to do so through 2025? OR DO WE WANT TO MENTION THIS PWA.
Pearson continues to work with Google to reestablish support for the Android TestNav app, which can run on Chromebooks.
The TestNav team also continues development efforts toward TestNav app improvements in advance of Google discontinuing Chrome App support.
What do I need to do (and how do I do it)?
Continue to monitor TestNav Online Support for most recent updates.
