Prerequisite for Set Section Start

Before you perform the task described on this page in PearsonAccessnext, verify in TestNav that the student has clicked Submit Section. If this is not done, then the next time the student logs into TestNav, the student will receive an unvisited sections error. 

Set Section Start

For a multi-section test you can select a section to:

Students with Completed and Marked Complete status cannot resume a test, but if needed, you can Undo Student Test Submission. 

 Find the Student

To find the student, follow these steps:

Set Section Start or Resume a Previously Started Test

 After finding the student(s), follow these steps:

  1. Select the check box next to a student record to select the student(s).

  2. Click Select Tasks and select Set Section Start / Resume. Click Start.

  3. Select the check box next to the student(s) name in the list to confirm your selection(s). 

  4. Select the section and click Save. If you have multiple students selected, you can select Use the same section for all Students in Session to set this for all of them at the same time, provided the students are all in the same test session.
