You can use the Hot Spot interaction to create multiple choice and multi-select items with "target areas."

See Author Test Items for general instruction on item creation.

  1. From the Editor tab, select Add Interaction, and then select Hot Spot.
  2. Under Configuration, upload an image and set its dimensions.
    1. You can enter alternate text in Image Alt Text.
  3. Use the sliders to adjust the position of each hot spot on the image.
  4. Under Settings, enter a value for Min and Max Associations.
  5. Under Scoring Settings, enter a value in Max Points.
  6. Under Correct Response, select the correct hot spot(s).
  7. Select Save.
