Testing Platforms: TestNav versus ADAM Player

Assessments managed in ADAM are taken by students on one of two testing platforms: ADAM Player or TestNav. The platform a student uses depends on the source of the content: TestNav items and forms are created outside of ADAM and typically used for summative assessments, while ADAM Player is for all assessments authored in ADAM. The process for creating administrations and proctor groups is the same for both. There are a few differences in the options available on the Proctor Dashboard—these are called out where applicable. Ask your test coordinator or Program Delivery Team if you are unsure which testing platform applies.
